Your Qualification

Must-Have:

  • Academic degree in computer science or application development or comparable
  • Good knowledge of the C# programming language and the .NET Framework
  • Good understanding of software development using agile methods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoy developing complex software for different use cases
  • Very good German (C1) and English skills

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience with platforms such as Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of software versioning with Git, for example
  • Experience with the Visual Studio development environment
  • Experience with relational database systems, ideally MySQL
  • Basic understanding of software architectures
  • UI/UX knowledge
  • Experience with various software tests (such as unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests)

Job Description

  • Further development of complex software applications used internally together with his team
  • Technical and organizational management of the software team
  • Technical leadership means acting as a “technical buddy” for team members with technical tasks, including
    • Developing concepts
    • Writing software
    • Performing code reviews, etc.
  • Organizational management includes
    • Organizing software development in a Scrum-like process
    • Maintaining backlogs
    • Clarifying requirements
    • Conducting refinement and planning meetings
  • First point of contact/communication interface for internal stakeholders of the software applications
  • Continuous further development of software development processes
  • Professional development of the team
  • Close communication with the head of the research and development department and the team leaders of the other R&D areas
