Your Qualifications
- Completed degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study
- In-depth expertise in the development of algorithms and the application of statistical methods for model validation
- Knowledge of at least one of the following topics
- Statistical modeling
- Pattern recognition/machine learning
- Data preparation and visualization
- Scientific computing
- Very good understanding of physics for the analysis of measurement data, especially in the field of non-destructive testing
- Enthusiasm for automated data processing
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, ideally Python
- Enjoyment and enthusiasm for working in a team – at our company, everyone supports everyone else
- Self-motivated, structured, and independent way of working
- Very good German language skills required
- Good English language skills desirable
Job Description
- Development of algorithms for detecting and classifying relevant signals in the data from our own measurement systems
- Identification and application of machine learning and pattern recognition methods for decision support
- Continuous improvement of the automation of our data analysis
- Development of visualization options for large amounts of data in collaboration with software development and users in data analysis
- Work in project teams and management of own development projects in the field of data and algorithms
- Verification, validation, and documentation of algorithms
- Interface between measurement technology, software development, and data analysis
